The Cruyff Institute receives representatives of two Russian universities

Two professors and eight students attend a lecture about the sports industry in Catalonia and athletes’ education

The international character of the Johan Cruyff Institute makes it an academic institution of growing interest for other universities and educational centers to learn about the programs taught here and the study methodology both in the classroom as well as online.

This is the case of the Ural State University of Physical Culture (UralGUFK) and the Ural Federal University of B. N. Eltsine (URFU), who sent 10 of its members to Barcelona to attend a lecture yesterday on the sports industry in Catalonia and athletes’ education in general and, specifically at the Johan Cruyff Institute, which responds to the need to educate sports professionals with specific academic training programs.

This visit to the Institute will provide value and new perspectives to eight students that are pursuing degrees in specialities as diverse as Public Relations and Advertising geared towards Sports Management, Sports Communication, Public Speaking, Communication Theory, Theory and Practice in Advertising or Sports Journalism among others.
