Johan Cruyff Institute adds the Federació Catalana d’Handbol to its partner network, allowing its players and staff to train in sport management with interesting discounts
Johan Cruyff Institute and the Federació Catalana d’Handbol (FCH) have signed a collaboration agreement that offers important advantages for the federation’s administrative staff, coaches and athletes, for the players of both indoor and beach handball of member clubs. They will all be able to access academic training with interesting discounts on the education for athletes programs in sport management, sport marketing and sponsorship, football business and coaching offered by Johan Cruyff Institute.
This agreement shows the intention of both entities to enhance the training of Catalan handball players and other collaborators, promoting the development of this sport widely practiced throughout Europe, and which is gradually gaining more popularity in the rest of the world. The FCH, with almost 80 years of history since its founding, currently has 123 member clubs and nearly 15,000 registered players.
José María del Rosal, in charge of training at the FCH, said that “with this collaboration, we intend to highlight the importance we place on the capacity for improvement of our functional structure and of our member clubs, in strategic areas as significant as sport management and marketing, through being able to offer the Catalan handball community access, with advantageous conditions, to the training programs of an entity with the prestige and experience of Johan Cruyff Institute.”
Meanwhile, the agreement also includes the possibility for Johan Cruyff Institute students to do internships at the FCH, depending on their availability, as well as for the two entities to develop joint educational activities.
