Globall Life signs a collaboration agreement with Johan Cruyff Institute to offer academic training in sport management to professional basketball players

Globall Life, an advisory and consulting company for professional basketball players, will incorporate the academic training in sport management from Johan Cruyff Institute into its services thanks to the collaboration agreement signed by the two parties. The aim of this American company is to facilitate the integration of professional basketball players into the labor market once their sports career is over and to support them in the development of their career and their academic training.

Through this agreement, both the players and staff of Globall Life will be able to benefit from significant discounts on the price of Johan Cruyff Institute programs in sport management, sport marketing and sponsorship, football business and coaching.

Globall Life, located in the state of Texas, was founded in 2016 by former professional basketball player Abiola Wabara, after she realized how difficult it was to find a professional position at the end of her sports career. “Partnering with Johan Cruyff Institute is taking a step in the right direction for Globall Life. One of our services is to help athletes continue their education as an additional way to successfully transition to life after pro sport,” says Abiola. “With this collaboration, we will be able to offer athletes great opportunities to do so. I am excited to see what the future holds.”

According to Ozana Marginean, program advisor at Johan Cruyff Institute and also a former professional basketball player,  “many elite athletes approaching retirement need professional support, academic training, advice, networking and other resources, and Globall Life, created and built from the personal experience of a former basketball player, is an important initiative that offers these much-needed tools. We are very happy to be able to add value to this entity through our academic training.”
