PRIVACY POLICY OF THE MOOC "The eSports Industry"

This Privacy Policy details the purposes for which the personal data of the people who register for the MOOC "The eSports Industry" offered by MEDIAPRODUCCIÓN SLU and JOHAN CRUYFF ACADEMICS INTERNATIONAL, SL, (hereinafter "the MOOC ”) will be processed , as well as the third parties to whom these may be communicated, under what conditions and how you can exercise your rights.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PROCESSING OF DATA

This course is organized by JOHAN CRUYFF ACADEMICS INTERNATIONAL, S.L. (hereinafter JCI), whose registered office is in Barcelona, at Calle Pomaret 8, with C.I.F. No. B-63083794, and by MEDIAPRODUCCIÓN S.L.U. (hereinafter MEDIAPRO), whose registered office is in Barcelona, at Av. Diagonal 177-183, with C.I.F. No. B-60188752.

PROCESSING OF DATA BY MEDIAPRO AND JCI
Purpose of the data processing

JCI Is the owner of this academic platform and will process your data for your enrollment and the development of the MOOC.

MEDIAPRO is in charge of developing the training content of the MOOC and will be able to process your data for the development and execution of the MOOC.

Both parties are jointly responsible for processing your data which will be collected for the following purposes:

To interact with you for the management, organization and development of the teaching activity, including academic works that may be carried out, delivery of teaching materials, lists of qualifications, diplomas, certificates and yearbooks.

To keep you informed of the schedules and times of sessions and exams, and of any changes in these or in the list of teachers, and of any other incidents, news, available materials, or eventualities that may occur during the course of or as a result of the MOOC.

To manage the pool of former students of the MOOC so as to be able to invite them to events, initiatives, meetings or fairs and inform them about possible job offers that may be of interest.

While you are a student of the course, to send you news and information about products, initiatives, projects and services of MEDIAPRO or JCI related to e-sports, or other products or services they are jointly responsible for, via email, SMS, phone call or any other means or system, as long as you have not fully completed the MOOC.

When you have finished the course, and provided that we have obtained your express consent to do so, to send commercial communications via emails, SMS, phone calls or any other means. In the event that you wish to stop receiving commercial or promotional communications from MEDIAPRO, you can ask to stop receiving these communications by sending an email to the address dpd@mediapro.tv, indicating the reference “MOOC-The e-Sports Industry”) or via the links provided in this regard in said communications.

To help us make the emails and SMS we send more useful and interesting for users, we usually receive a confirmation when an email or SMS is opened in the event that the computer, tablet or receiving device supports this type of feature.

To prepare press releases, videos or promotional content related to the MOOC, e-sports and, in general, activities related to MEDIAPRO or JCI. To this end, both may reproduce, communicate, distribute, make publicly available and, in general, widely use your image and/or voice, including any statements or appearances that you may make, in any media, system and format, including television, online platforms and social networks.

Categories of data processed

For the purposes described in the previous section we can process the following data:

Identification data: name and surname, identification document or passport and postal address, email or contact telephone number.

Data related to personal characteristics: date and place of birth.

Image and/or voice, if it was captured due to your participation in the MOOC.

Any other personal data that may be necessary for the proper execution of the MOOC.

Third party recipients

Your data may be communicated to other entities of the MEDIAPRO Group for internal administrative and coordination matters at Group level.

Your data may be communicated to the MOOC teachers, so that they can properly identify you, follow your progress as a student and answer your queries.

To the competent Administrations, Judges and Courts, and to the Spanish Data Protection Agency, in the case of conflicts related to consumer rights, data protection and intellectual or industrial property.

To the State Security Forces and Bodies, Judges and Courts for the fulfillment of the legal obligations that may correspond.

In the event that your image and/or voice is captured, it may be passed on to third parties, such as producers and/or television channels, websites, including those located in countries that may not offer a level of data protection comparable to that of Spain. These images can also be made available to the public on online platforms (Twitch, U-BEAT, etc.) and on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).

Legitimation for the processing of your data

The legitimating conditions or legal reasons that justify the processing of your personal data, as appropriate, are as follows:

The execution of the contract for the provision of teaching services.

Compliance with legal obligations that may correspond.

Your express consent for the capture and use of your image and/or voice as well as for the sending of commercial communications of any kind, when you are no longer a student of the course.

While you are a student of the course, legitimate interest for sending commercial communications and invitations to events, initiatives, meetings or fairs, and to inform you about job offers that may be of interest to you, as well as products and services of MEDIAPRO related to e-sports, or of JCI related to their programs or courses.

Conservation of your data

The personal data that you provide will be subject to security measures appropriate to the risk of the processing, and kept for the period necessary for the proper development of the MOOC and for an additional period that can be up to six (6) years after the end of its last edition.

In the same way, your data, especially those related to your image and/or voice, may be kept for the following purposes:

To demonstrate the status of legitimate assignee of the usage rights assigned under this Privacy Policy until such elements enter the public domain (which could mean a conservation period of more than seventy years).

Its conservation in archives without a time limit.

The information you have published on social networks or any other site or web platform or application will be publicly available as long as you do not decide to delete it. In any case, keep in mind that any information that you publish or disclose on social networks or on any platform or application available to the public will become public information and will be available to visitors of the site as long as you do not delete it and according to the policies of each social network. Therefore, you must take special care and diligence when disclosing personal information or any other type of information on these sites.

JCI and MEDIAPRO have designated JCI as the point of contact for the exercise of rights. Below we offer information on what rights you have and how to exercise them.

You can request access to your personal data, rectify inaccurate data or request its deletion when the data is no longer necessary and, where appropriate, request limitation of the treatment thereof, the right of portability or the right of opposition either in writing to the address “Calle Pomaret, 8 - 08017, Barcelona, España” or by email to dpd@cruyffinstitute.org, with the reference “RGDP”, indicating the reason for your request. However, requests that are especially unfounded or excessive may be denied. Likewise, we hereby inform you of your right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
