Tatiana Briseño, a sport manager at the club Pachuca, is the winner of the scholarship to study the Master in Football Business Online offered by Johan Cruyff Institute as part of Women in Football’s GetOnside initiative
Tatiana Briseño, a sport manager at the Mexican football club Pachuca Women, will study the next edition of Johan Cruyff Institute’s Master in Football Business Online, which will start on September 20, 2022, as a beneficiary of the full scholarship awarded by this institution to Women in Football within the framework of its GetOnside campaign.
The initiative has the clear objective of promoting and facilitating the incorporation of women into the governing bodies of women’s football and Johan Cruyff Institute supports the initiative by giving applicants the opportunity to receive sport management training that will give them the tools and knowledge they need to respond to the challenges of the football industry.

Tatiana will benefit from a full scholarship worth more than 8,000 euros to study the Master in Football Business Online, but the rest of the women who applied to Women in Football will not leave empty-handed either. Johan Cruyff Institute has decided to grant them a 25% discount if they also decide to enroll in the program.
The Mexican manager was overjoyed when she received the good news. “I’m going to cry! To be told this is…it fills me with emotion,” she said in an online connection with the campaign organizers. “To have the opportunity to connect with other women from other countries, to learn from them and get to know their opinions is fantastic. So, thank you for making this possible because you are impacting so many lives, including mine.”
This will be the second edition of Johan Cruyff Institute’s Master in Football Business Online, offered in English and Spanish. The program is aimed at: female former football players or athletes who, through sport management training, want to give their professional career a boost; women who are working in the business field and want to specialize in the football industry; or those who already have experience in the sector, but do not have studies in football management and need to update their knowledge of the industry. Tatiana Briseño responds to this last group. In December 2021, she took on a sport manager position at the Pachuca women’s club, after working for five years in the technical office of Club León FC and being in charge of press and communication at the same club.
