The future of sport to be debated in Barcelona

Indescat, the Catalan sports industry cluster, is organising the fourth EPSI Conference (European Platform for Sports Innovation) to be held on 8 and 9 June in the Auditorium of the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona. The aim of this conference is to explore opportunities and challenges for the sports industry through the exchange of knowledge and best practices.

Under the name “Sports Innovation in the City” and introducing “The Consumer Goods Innovation Forum: Paving the Way for Future Growth”, the conference will address the following topics:

  • Wearables in the sports industry
  • Future trends in the industry
  • Industrial innovation
  • Research and innovation to strengthen growth
  • Smart cities and sports
  • Smart stadiums and digital events
