Johan Cruyff Institute, academic partner of iWorkinSport Job Fair 2022 in Lausanne, offers students and alumni the opportunity to arrange job interviews with international companies and sports organizations
The fifth edition of the iWorkinSport Job Fair, the top international recruitment fair focused on the sports industry where international sports companies and organizations go to look for new talent, will take place on May 20. The event is back in-person after having held its last two editions online due to Covid-19 restrictions, and is expected to break attendance records at the Lausanne Convention Center.
Johan Cruyff Institute will once again be an academic partner of the event and is offering, exclusively for its students and alumni, the possibility to participate in the fair and to arrange job interviews with recruiting companies including top-level organizations such as FIFA, UEFA, FIBA, IMG, IOC, Puma, SportBusiness and UFC, among others.
Johan Cruyff Institute’s mission is not only to provide students with knowledge of sport management, but also to help them create and expand their own network of contacts that will facilitate their access to the sports industry. We have been an academic partner of iWorkinSport since its inception and for our institution it is key for putting our network of students and alumni in contact with international companies. We will be accompanying them for another year in Lausanne and we hope that the event will be as fruitful as in previous editions,” says Nuria Juan, Associate Academic Manager at Johan Cruyff Institute.

At the last face-to-face edition held in 2019, more than 300 students and alumni from some of the world’s leading postgraduate programs in sport management, including those from Johan Cruyff Institute, travelled to Lausanne to offer their talents.
The recruiting companies will announce, prior to the meeting, the professional profiles that they are interested in so that candidates can submit their CVs through the iWorkinSport website. After an initial screening, those selected will be invited to visit the booths of these companies and will have 20 minutes to introduce themselves and have a job interview, without any other intermediaries.
The Job Fair consists of two main activities that take place in parallel: the fair, where interviews, meetings and networking opportunities take place; and the conference, where panels will be held on topics such as ‘Trends in the industry: what sports organizations are looking for’; ‘Find your opportunity, make your CV stand out’ and ‘What (not) to do in a job interview’, among others.
iWorkinSport is the perfect setting for companies and HR professionals to exchange knowledge and promote what it means to work in their companies to an interested and qualified audience. Students and alumni of Johan Cruyff Institute interested in attending the fair should register through its website. The first 50 to do so will be able to attend free of charge and the rest will receive a 50% discount.
