The historic Club Bolívar offers its players, members and staff the opportunity to study at the Johan Cruyff Institute with special conditions
Club Bolívar will offer its athletes, members and administrative staff the possibility to access the academic education of Johan Cruyff Institute with interesting discounts, thanks to the collaboration agreement signed by the two entities. The agreement also provides opportunities for the students of our institution, since in addition to learning about the management of a historic football club through case studies and the participation of the club in presentations and educational activities, Club Bolivar will also offer five internships that our students can apply for.
Club Bolívar, with 93 years of history, is the most successful club in Bolivian football. It was founded in April 1925, but it was not until 1977 that the club began its professional era following the creation of the Bolivian Professional Football League. Club Bolívar has played 40 seasons in the First Division, and has been champion 22 times and runner-up 11 times. Also of note at international level are its 32 participations in the Copa Libertadores de América, 9 in the Copa Sudamericana and 1 in Conmebol.
Dardo Gómez, general manager of BAISA-Club Bolívar, highlights the importance of the agreement. “This strategic alliance with the Johan Cruyff Institute is very important because the lack of education and professional training is one of the things that Bolivian football suffers from most. This agreement will allow us to develop better professionals in the area of management and that will contribute to the growth of our football”.
