The Association of Guatemalan Footballers (AFG) relies on Johan Cruyff Institute to educate in sport management, sport marketing and football business to the new generation of Guatemalan football managers
Members of the Association of Guatemalan Footballers (AFG) will now be able to acquire education in Sport Management, Sport Marketing and Football Business, following the agreement it recently signed with the Johan Cruyff Institute.
Carlos Figueroa, current president of the AFG, and Luis Arboleda, representative of the Johan Cruyff Institute in Guatemala and El Salvador, signed the agreement in the facilities of the Association. The agreement will make special conditions available to all professionals linked to football “to be trained professionally in a sport that has changed a lot, by the hand of a world-recognized institute,” says the president.
For the Johan Cruyff Institute this new agreement means increasing its commitment to the professionalization of the sport worldwide. “It is a very important relationship because it will allow the academic training of a new generation of managers with the objective of improving the management of our football,” explains Luis Arboleda.
