The alliance with Girona FC, even stronger

Johan Cruyff Institute and Girona FC renew the agreement for 2018 and expand the collaboration to include more benefits for members of both entities

Johan Cruyff Institute and Girona FC have reached an agreement to extend the collaboration deal originally signed by the director of the institution, Mariël Koerhuis, and club president, Delfí Geli. Both entities have collaborated together for a year to provide members and employees of the club the opportunity to get academic education in sport management, sport marketing and football business, with special discounts.

For 2018, the collaboration framework will be extended to include a 50% discount partial scholarship to one member of the first team of Girona FC, to study any of the online or on-campus programs of the Johan Cruyff Institute, with the exception of the Official Master’s Degree in Sport Management.

Johan Cruyff Institute will also make its classroom talent available to the club, offering students for internships at Girona FC according to the needs of the club. For its part, the club is offering students and members of the Johan Cruyff Institute network the chance to purchase 2×1 tickets to watch the league match at the Montilivi stadium between Girona FC and Deportivo de La Coruña next March.
