The agreement will make international football management and administration programs more accessible to professionals and individuals interested in developing their careers in the sports industry.
Johan Cruyff Institute has signed a collaboration agreement with the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF) and its Training and Development Center (CCD) to provide education in football management and administration to Venezuelan professionals and those looking to develop their careers in the sports industry.
Inspired by Johan Cruyff’s philosophy of leadership, innovation, and global vision, this collaboration will enable Johan Cruyff Institute and the FVF to offer educational programs designed to prepare future leaders of Venezuela’s sports industry.
“We want more Venezuelans to see football as an opportunity for professional development. This partnership with Johan Cruyff Institute aims to provide them with the knowledge, experience, and tools they need to take on new responsibilities and contribute their talent to organizations across our country,” said Jorge Andrés Giménez Ochoa, president of the Venezuelan Football Federation.

The agreement includes two programs focused on football business and administration, offering educational opportunities both to those working in clubs, associations, academies, and other sports organizations and to those looking to enter the industry professionally.
Johan Cruyff Institute will offer the International Program in Football Business, a 70-hour executive program designed for individuals who want to gain an understanding of the essential concepts and tools for effectively managing football clubs and businesses connected to the industry. The program will be delivered in a hybrid format, combining online and in-person learning.
In addition, Johan Cruyff Institute will offer the International Postgraduate Program in Football Business, a 420-hour program designed for individuals seeking to pursue leadership and management positions in the football industry. The program includes multidisciplinary online modules, case studies, individual research, teamwork, and experiential learning, providing students with relevant knowledge and skills for the sector.
Academic exchange and sports talent development
The partnership also creates opportunities for academic exchange and knowledge transfer, using an approach that connects educational content with real-world experiences and challenges in the sports industry.
“We chose Venezuela because we genuinely believe it is a market with great potential. We are fulfilling the mission entrusted to us by our founder, Johan Cruyff, and the best way to contribute to the country’s professionalization is to work with the organization that governs its football and provide the tools needed to manage it effectively,” said Román Pascual, Admissions and Partnerships Manager at Johan Cruyff Institute.
With this new academic offering, Johan Cruyff Institute reaffirms its commitment to developing talent in Venezuela’s and Latin America’s sports industries, championing innovative, up-to-date education aligned with the challenges facing the sector.
