Indescat presents the fifth Business and Sports Awards with Johan Cruyff Institute on the jury

The jury of this fifth edition, which included our consulting manager Cinto Ajram, has awarded the projects of Coach Studio, RunOpinion, Skitude and FirstVision

For the fifth year in a row, the Catalan cluster of the sports industry, Indescat, has conferred the Business and Sports Awards that recognize the four most outstanding sports projects in the fields of innovation, internationalization, partnership and entrepreneurship (a new category this year). The consulting manager at the Johan Cruyff Institute, Cinto Ajram, represented the institution as a member of the jury.

The award ceremony was held yesterday at the UPF Barcelona School of Management and was attended by: the president of Indescat, Anna Pruna; the director general of sport, Gerard Figueras; the sports  commissioner at the Ajuntament de Barcelona, Marta Carranza; the delegate from ACCIÓ, Joan Romero, the president of the Unió de Federacions Esportives de Catalunya, Gerard Esteva, and the general manager of UPF Barcelona School of Management, Carme Martinell.

The winners of this fifth edition were:

Coach Studio (Partnership Award): Platform for the digitalization of the work of a basketball coach, in order to facilitate work and monitoring by the club coordinators. Project developed by Paited Apps SL and the Catalan Basketball Federation.

RunOpinion (Entrepreneurship Award): Platform that integrates the information and functionalities that runners need to run safely and healthily, and which they can also share with their contacts.

Skitude (Internationalization Award): Social network for snow and mountain sports. It allows users to access information about ski resorts and record the activity for their own use and/or to share in other networks.

FirstVision (Innovation Award): Camera that is integrated into the shirt of an athlete (or referee), in order to improve the viewer experience in sports broadcasts.
