Johan Cruyff Institute and LigaPro sign a collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting academic training in the Ecuadorian football industry
LigaPro is counting on the educational experience of Johan Cruyff Institute to promote, through its organization, academic training in the Ecuadorian football industry. The two entities have signed a collaboration agreement that will give all staff members, coaches and affiliated athletes of LigaPro the opportunity to obtain interesting discounts on Johan Cruyff Institute education programs in sport management, sport marketing and sponsorship, football business and coaching. Cristina Palés, marketing manager of Johan Cruyff Institute, and Miguel Ángel Loor, president of LigaPro, signed the agreement in September in Madrid.
“Signing this collaboration agreement with the LigaPro sports association represents a unique opportunity for Johan Cruyff Institute to contribute to the development of the Ecuadorian football industry. We welcome the commitment that this means and we are convinced that it will produce a very positive and promising synergy,” says Cristina Palés.
Since its inception in 2018, the Professional Football League of Ecuador has been a sports association composed of the 26 professional football clubs that participate in the Serie A and B divisions of the Ecuadorian league. LigaPro is responsible for organizing and managing Ecuadorian tournaments and championships, while defending the interests of its members and controlling commercial rights, discipline, stadiums, appeals tribunals and security.
The president of the association, Miguel Ángel Loor, expresses his satisfaction with the agreement: “For us, it is an honor to have signed an agreement with Johan Cruyff Institute, such an important sports management organization. The idea is that all the clubs and managers of the league benefit from this agreement, get education and, at the end of the day, a lot people join this project.”
