Johan Cruyff Institute and CONMEBOL, the South American Football Confederation, have formed a strategic alliance based on academic training and the exchange of knowledge and talent for the benefit of the sports industry
CONMEBOL member associations and the network of students and alumni of Johan Cruyff Institute will benefit from the important strategic alliance agreement that the two entities have entered into, which includes specialized academic training in sport management and the exchange of talent and knowledge between both entities.
The South American Football Confederation, one of FIFA’s six continental federations which is made up of the national associations of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela, will offer its athletes, staff, employees and partners the opportunity to access, with interesting discounts, the extensive academic training that Johan Cruyff Institute provides in sport management, sport marketing and sponsorship, and football business.
CONMEBOL has been working for years to position itself as a leading institution in the football industry that generates opportunities in South American countries with transformative solutions and partnerships that enrich its collective. The Johan Cruyff Institute’s 100% sport-focused training will from now on be part of the services that the Confederation offers to its members.

The alliance with CONMEBOL, one of the most important football governing bodies in the world, will also be a great source of knowledge for the students of Johan Cruyff Institute. The South American Football Confederation’s experience and expertise in organizing prestigious sporting events, such as the CONMEBOL Copa America and the CONMEBOL Libertadores, is beyond doubt. Under the terms of the agreement, members of CONMEBOL staff will participate in the teaching of academic programs of Johan CruyffInstitute, collaborating in lectures, seminars or webinars organized by this academic institution. The agreement also includes the possibility for students and former students to do internships at CONMEBOL.
