Johan Cruyff Institute and the Professional Technical Institute of the Uruguayan Football Coaches Association (ITP AUDEF) have reached an agreement to collaborate in the development of new academic programs in Uruguay related to the management of sport, especially football
With the recently signed agreement for academic cooperation between the two institutions, the Professional Technical Institute of the Uruguayan Football Coaches Association will be able to make new specializations related to sport management available to all its members. Johan Cruyff Institute and the ITP AUDEF have signed a memorandum of understanding by which the Uruguayan institute will incorporate different modules taught by Johan Cruyff Institute into its academic programs. This will be the beginning of an academic partnership that also includes a reverse collaboration, i.e. the AUDEF will contribute courses, lectures, seminars or workshops to the programs of Johan Cruyff Institute in Uruguay.
“One of the main objectives of the ITP AUDEF is to raise the level of the courses we offer related to the world of sport and football in particular, and this collaboration with Johan Cruyff Institute fully complies with that purpose. We are very excited about this partnership because of the great reputation of this institution in the international market and we are sure that we will complement each other very well,” said the academic director of the ITP AUDEF, Pablo Hernández.

The current headquarters of the ITP AUDEF is located in the Estadio Centenario, the stadium where the Uruguayan national football team plays its home matches. This stadium will also host a new edition of the blended Diploma in Sports Law offered by Johan Cruyff Institute, with a first part online starting on June 14, and a second part face-to-face in Montevideo at the end of July.
