Johan Cruyff Institute will participate in this conference day for the sports industry in Lima, oriented towards networking, knowledge and the generation of opportunities
On June 1, Lima will host the 4th edition of the Latin American Congress of Sports Business, a day focused on networking, knowledge and the generation of opportunities for the sports industry. The Johan Cruyff Institute, learning partner of the organizer of the event, Good Morning Sports, will be represented by the Peru country manager, Renato Ricci, one of the conference speakers.
In his opinion, “SportBizLatam will be an excellent opportunity for all those who want to deal with sports companies in Peru and the region. They will see that what sport in Peru needs is good sport managers. They are the leaders of sport and the ones responsible for the results and administration of sport in every country. And like in all professional careers, sport managers must be educated to have the necessary tools and to be able to make the right decisions for sport”.
This year, for the second edition in Lima, the congress is introducing the new ‘Business Rounds’, where participants will be able to take part in debates on different topics and connect with professionals specialized in their areas of interest, thus promoting the search for synergies. Key topics will be included in the debate, such as the Pan American Games 2019, brands and fan engagement, transforming football in Peru, technologies and new business for sporting entities, the future leaders in sport, e-sports and innovation.
The event will feature an innovative space, #FanMkt, a micro-event focusing on sport marketing, fan engagement, social networking in sport and also a sports start-up contest. Laura Cordeiro, director and co-founder of Good Morning Sports, commented that: “SportBizLatam is the space par excellence where the sports industry can periodically converge in order to update, connect, look for synergies and develop business opportunities. In this new edition in Lima, there will be a large presence of professionals from the region, international-level speakers, a very interesting new space to create opportunities within the ‘business rounds’, a start-up contest to promote innovation in sport, and a lot of networking”.
