With a view to the future of its athletes, PFA Lithuania relies on Johan Cruyff Institute to provide quality sport management academic training to all its members
PFA Lithuania (Professional Footballers Association of Lithuanian) wants to support its members from the very beginning and invest in the future of its footballers by offering them academic training at Johan Cruyff Institute. Less than a year since its founding, it is now the sports association with the most members in the Baltic countries and was created to bring together the community of Lithuanian professional footballers, to represent their interests and to provide them with qualified assistance in different fields.
The agreement established between Johan Cruyff Institute and PFA Lithuania offers a significant discount on all academic programs taught by Johan Cruyff Institute in the field of sport management, sport marketing and sponsorship, football business and coaching. In addition, the agreement establishes the basis for carrying out joint activities and collaborating in events and talks promoted by both entities, as well as for internships for Johan Cruyff Institute students at the Lithuanian association, should they become available.
“I am very pleased to cooperate with Johan Cruyff Institute, and I have no doubt that this synergy will benefit both parties. PFA members will have the opportunity to gain knowledge from Johan Cruyff Institute. This cooperation is a big step forward for our organization and I believe that it will last beyond the terms of this first agreement,” said Arunas Klimavicius, PFA president and Lithuanian professional footballer.
“We are delighted to close a deal with PFA Lithuania, a young association that is committed to formal training. We look forward to contributing to the development of Lithuanian football and we are convinced that it will be a very fruitful collaboration,” said Cristina Palés, marketing director of Johan Cruyff Institute.
