Johan Cruyff Institute contributes its expertise in the 'Report on Sport Opportunities in Spain' webinar organized by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency

Mariël Koerhuis, general manager of Johan Cruyff Institute, contributed to the ‘Report on Sport Opportunities in Spain’, promoted by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy of the Netherlands, that aims to support Dutch entrepreneurs in the sports industry

The general manager of Johan Cruyff Institute, Mariël Koerhuis, will be one of the expert speakers in the webinar ‘Report on Sport Opportunities in Spain’, organized by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), which will take place on November 25th from 3 pm to 4 pm CEST. The session is aimed at Dutch entrepreneurs in the sports industry and has been organized as a result of the report commissioned from Orange Sports Forum, a platform dedicated to promoting companies, organizations and institutions in the Dutch sports ecosystem.

Mariël Koerhuis will contribute her business experience leading Johan Cruyff Institute, the academic legacy of Johan Cruyff, as an organization that strives to ensure the future of athletes in the business world through training, and the professionalization of the sports industry through the incorporation and contribution of new leaders in sport management. “It has been a pleasure to participate in this study and share my vision of our industry managed from this country. I hope it will be interesting for Dutch sport stakeholders to know the sport ecosystem in Spain more closely and discover its potential as a springboard for growth to other parts of the world,” says Mariël.

Johan Cruyff Institute collaborates closely with a network of more than 300 key companies in the sports sector and is present at the most important sport management conferences on the international scene. The session on the ‘Report on Sport Opportunities in Spain’ will be moderated by Jules van Son, sport & international business advisor at RVO, and will also have the participation of Rick van Sleegers, project manager at Orange Sports Forum (OSF), and Lotte Engels, director of Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO), Barcelona.

Academic Programs

On campus programs at Johan Cruyff Institute include visits to sport organizations, clubs and facilities so that students can experience firsthand the challenges faced by sport managers on a daily basis. We also feature Master Classes by guest speakers who occupy key positions within the different areas of the sports industry. Online programs offer the possibility of studying in any place at any time through the Virtual Campus. The study pace can be adapted to each individual's workload and availability. A tutor guides each student through the entire program.
