EVIX was the winner of B-Step Barcelona Activa, a program aimed at technology startups working in the sports or physical activity sectors. The final took place on January 27 in Barcelona and Johan Cruyff Institute, represented by its general manager Mariël Koerhuis, was part of the institutional jury. “The finalist startups are an example of the entrepreneurial spirit in sports tech in Barcelona.  I think it is an excellent initiative to support technological and innovative entrepreneurship driven by young talent,” said Mariël.

On the closing day of the program, and before announcing the winner, there was a round table on ‘Investment in Sports Tech Startups’ with the participation of Gemma Riu, cluster manager at Andorra Esports Cluster; Borja Ballasté, investment manager at Inveready, and Marc Bigas, CEO and founder of Skitude, with Quino Fernández, CEO of AticcoLab, as moderator.
