Johan Cruyff Institute and Olocip, a company specialized in developing artificial intelligence applications for sports, sign a collaboration agreement to develop joint activities
Through the signing of this collaboration agreement, Johan Cruyff Institute opens the doors to Olocip to participate in its teaching activity via presentations, seminars or webinars, and contribute its experience and knowledge in developing artificial intelligence applications for professional sport.
Olocip operates as an Artificial Intelligence department in clubs and sport entities implementing, with rigour and from the scientific knowledge, different services and solutions in match analysis, injury prevention, sports management (scouting and signings) and sponsorships and digital assets, among others.
The main objective of this cooperation is to enrich each other through the exchange of knowledge and the creation of joint projects. In the same way, Johan Cruyff Institute students will have access to internships that Olocip may offer.
According to Esteban Granero, CEO of Olocip and current Spanish soccer player, “our agreement with Johan Cruyff Institute aims to familiarize the students with artificial intelligence and its different applications in the field of sport management, the implementation of which will be a determining factor in the technological transformation of the sports industry.”
