A group of 30 students from the Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico) visit Johan Cruyff Institute to attend a presentation on the football industry
A group of 30 university students of different specialties at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, popularly known as the Tecnológico de Monterrey, visited the Johan Cruyff Institute facilities yesterday to attend an exclusive master class on various aspects of the football industry.
José Luis Beltrán, digital project manager at FC Barcelona, gave them an interesting presentation that lasted just over two hours on ‘football as a business’, viewed from the perspective of generating commercial revenue. As head of the digital area of FC Barcelona, Beltrán contributed his more than 15 years’ experience in the digital field to talk about the impact of technology in the football industry, from new ticketing strategies to the generation of content to boost fan engagement.
