Johan Cruyff Institute continues to show its commitment to the Latin American market as learning partner of a new edition of SportBizLatam Colombia
On September 4, Johan Cruyff Institute will actively participate in the 15th Latin American sport business congress SportBizLatam Colombia, a space for interaction, training and debate, which will bring together the main players in the sports industry at the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá.
As learning partner of the event, Johan Cruyff Institute will be represented by one of our agents, Felipe Castro, who will be the moderator of one of the panels. “Sport in its form, organization and structure has changed enormously and for this reason it is vitally important for the operators, professionals and managers involved in the world of sport to participate in this type of congress and have a space for networking, sharing knowledge and experiences, in addition to learning about the sports scene in our country and in the region through the talks and panels with experts in each of the areas”, says Felipe.
The institution will also have a privileged space in the hall to promote its sport management education programs aimed at athletes and sports professionals. “The objective of Johan Cruyff Institute and YAYA Sports Enterprise, as its representative in Colombia, is to be able to make the participants aware of the legacy and philosophy of Johan Cruyff and its support to professional athletes, educating them to complement their sports careers and prepare them for the future. We have participated in this, giving more than ten scholarships to professional football players in our country”, adds Castro.
“Johan Cruyff Institute’s participation in the SportBizLatam network demonstrates the institute’s commitment to the professionalization of sport and to the Latin American market, which is in full development and where new opportunities are constantly emerging. Johan Cruyff Institute offers us their vision, experience and link with the next generation of sport leaders,” says Laura Cordeiro, director of Good Morning Sports and coordinator of SportBizLatam Colombia.
Throughout the day, topics related to the development and management of sport, sport marketing and creative communication, and innovation in the industry will be discussed. The panels and talks will be delivered by international specialists from Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Brazil, as well as leading professionals from the national scene.
