Patriotas Boyacá offers its players academic training from Johan Cruyff Institute

Johan Cruyff Institute and the Colombian football club Patriotas Boyacá sign an agreement that will enable the club’s players and employees to get academic training in sport management

Through the agreement, Johan Cruyff Institute makes all its academic programs in sport management, sport marketing and sponsorship, football business and coaching available to the Colombian club Patriotas Boyacá with interesting discounts.

The signed agreement aims to enhance the professional development of the players and employees of the club. In the words of the executive president of the entity, Cesar Guzmán, “we want the Patriotas Boyacá family to take a leap in quality in all sport management processes.” According to the manager, “our main interest is to create spaces for all members of our institution to have access to an education of excellent quality in the sports industry.” The agreement also contemplates the possibility of offering internships at the club to Johan Cruyff Institute students.

Patriotas Boyacá, who have played in Colombia’s Primera A division since being promoted in 2011, have received excellent references about Johan Cruyff Institute from their current sports advisor, Iván Corredor, who did the Master in Sport Management when he retired as a professional footballer.
