The theme of the third edition of Palco23’s Sports Business Meeting is ‘Show must go on: the spectacle of sport after Covid-19’, and will include the participation of Jordi Viñas, professor of Johan Cruyff Institute
As part of its commitment to support initiatives and professionals that contribute to the professionalization of the sports industry, Johan Cruyff Institute once again joins the Sports Business Meeting, a discussion forum organized by Palco23, the third edition of which will be held from November 3 to 5 in virtual format. The institution, in addition to being a sponsor of the event, will be represented in one of the sessions by the professor of the Master in Sport Management, Jordi Viñas, CEO and owner of ITIK Consultoría, a company specializing in strategic management and sports facilities. Jordi will participate in a round table entitled ‘Perspectives and challenges in sport after Covid-19’ on November 5th at 5.40 pm (CEST).
Under the title ‘Show must go on: the spectacle of sport after Covid-19’, Sports Business Meeting 2020 will be streamed live during the three days of presentations, interviews and expert panels. Each edition of Sports Business Meeting deals with aspects of great relevance for companies related to sports such as football, cycling or fitness, among others, a space created by and for the leaders of the sports industry. ‘Sport and business: a tandem of the future’ in 2018, and ‘Sport and the redefinition of its playing field’ in 2019, were the themes chosen for the first two editions.
The 2020 edition, which will be held physically in Barcelona, but without the physical presence of an audience, will combine presentations by Spanish executives on the stage with streaming connections by international speakers and experts. The conference can be followed live, free of charge, via the conference’s app. Registration is now open until full virtual capacity is reached.
