The UAB, with which we jointly deliver the University Master’s Degree in Sport Management, is named the best university in Spain in the CyD Ranking, which evaluates 80 universities throughout Spain
The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) will soon close another academic year with the recognition of its excellent work after being named the best Spanish university in the ranking published by the CyD Foundation. For this year’s edition, the tenth in its history, the evaluation included 80 universities, 29 fields of study and 3,266 degrees.
The University Master’s Degree in Sport Management has been taught since 2016 and is the result of the collaboration agreement that Johan Cruyff Institute signed with the UAB’s Faculty of Economics and Business, with the aim of joining forces and promoting university education in one of the professional sectors with the highest economic growth. We deliver this program both on-campus in Barcelona and online.
In 2023, the UAB is once again the university with the biggest number of high-performance indicators in Spain, with a total of 29 indicators, one more than in the previous edition.
The criteria are structured in five dimensions: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation, and involvement in the environment.
In terms of teaching and learning, the UAB is in the high-performance group in 7 of the 9 indicators; in research, it performs highly in 7 of the 8 indicators; in knowledge transfer, it stands out in 6 of 8 indicators; in international orientation, it is highly valued in 6 of the 7 indicators; and, finally, it performs highly in 3 of the 4 indicators related to involvement in the environment.
The 10 Spanish universities with the highest number of top-performing indicators in the ranking are, in descending order: UAB, Universidad de Navarra, Carlos III de Madrid, Autónoma de Madrid, Universitat de Barcelona, Pontificia Comillas, Universidad Deusto, Pompeu Fabra, Universitat Rovira i Virgili and Universitat Ramon Llull.
