Four leading women in different areas of management will discuss the challenges and opportunities for a 360-degree growth of women’s football in Mexico and internationally, in a panel organized and moderated by Johan Cruyff Institute
Johan Cruyff Institute will be present at SPORTBIZ Mexico, the Latin American Sports Business Congress to be held on February 7 and 8 at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City. The event, which once again can count on the collaboration of this institution as ‘Academic Partner‘, will bring together the ecosystem of the sports industry in an environment conducive to debate, interaction, training and doing new business.
The content agenda will focus on six broad areas—sport management; fan engagement; digital transformation; platforms and media; marketing and sponsorship; sportech and data analysis—with interactive panels in which key players in the sports industry will address the latest trends in the sector.
Johan Cruyff Institute has put together a top-level panel to discuss the growth and consolidation of women’s football in Mexico and globally. Under the moderation of Edgar Romero, corporate relations of Johan Cruyff Institute, Andrea Rodebaugh (director of women’s national teams in Mexico and graduate of the Master in Football Business at Johan Cruyff Institute Mexico), Olimpia Cabral (commercial and marketing executive director at Chivas – Club Deportivo Guadalajara), Eva Espejo (sports director at Rayadas – Club de Fútbol Monterrey Femenil) and Mónica Arredondo (sports journalist at FOX Sports) will discuss the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for women’s football for a 360-degree growth, in which all the different stakeholders contribute to its consolidation and sustainability as a mass sport.
Thanks to the collaboration with Johan Cruyff Institute as the academic partner of the event, students and alumni who wish to attend the congress will receive a 50% discount on the ticket price. All the information, as well as the promotional code, is available on the virtual campus and the Cruyff Alumni platform.
